Pastor Marlo McCray Shoffner is a native of High Point, NC, where she attended Guilford County Public Schools, graduating in the class of 1986 from High Point Central High School. She is married to Mr. Michael A. Shoffner of 21 years and they have 5 grown children, 2 daughters- in-laws, one son-in-law, and 13 grandchildren. 

 

God called Pastor Shoffner to the preaching ministry in June of 1998, and in due season July 10, 2008, she was ordained Reverend in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. On February 5, 2016, Pastor Shoffner was ordained to the office of Pastor by Overseer Michael A. Ellerbe of New Beginnings Full Gospel Ministries.

 

The anointing to preach and teach and her giftedness as a vocalist and pianist, coupled by her God-given abilities to motivate and encourage others, makes her a spirit-filled package, fully ignited by the Holy Spirit. God has used her to facilitate workshops for many women conferences and evangelistic services throughout the surrounding areas.

 

In addition to Pastor Shoffner’s many tasks in church ministry, she served as Minister of Music for 31 years at Williams Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Director of Music for the 7th Episcopal District of the Carolina Regional Conference; Assistant Chaplain at Shaw University C.A.P.E., President of the Student Government Association of Shaw University C.A.P.E, High Point, NC. 

 

Pastor Shoffner received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Religion and Philosophy and a minor in Business Management at Shaw University C.A.P.E., in Raleigh, NC. on May 9, 2015. Upon graduating from Shaw University, Pastor Shoffner pursued her Life Coach Certification from Guilford Technical Community College and obtained it in December of 2015. In June of 2021, Pastor Shoffner recently published her first 30 day Devotional titled Fresh Nuggets From Heaven which is designed to strengthen and encourage the spiritual lives of others. 

 

Pastor Shoffner is also featured every Tuesday and Friday on the radio broadcast Kdaylive.com which reaches across the world.

Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 and it boldly declares
